Interior design for home office
More than just a place to live, home office is the place where you can live and work at home; one of the best choice for many people. This is a project that me and a friend of mine designed a home office for a small village in the outskirts of the town. The design is based on the research on the local target market. The design is specifically designed for any entrepreneurs who start a new life.
“The Gift of Balance in Your Life – May you find the balance of life, time for work but also time for play. Too much of one thing ends up creating stress that no one needs in their life,” said Catherine Pulsifer. This is where we put the concept into visual. Either living or working area, both places should be designed to be comfortable to live yet suitable to work.
ESCAPE FROM STRESS: With the U shape house, all rooms in the first floor have access to the garden. The greens change the whole atmosphere; creating the feeling of a high-class loghouse in the middle of the forest. After grueiling work, the work place itself is a retreat from a hard day.
In order to gain an enjoyment from staying at home, we picked an earth tone color with the shade of solid dark blue. A, dramatic, warm light to convey a warm and welcoming feeling. Since the space is resonably compact, we decided to select movable furnitures rather than built-in ones.
It is essential for any working places to have lots of storages to keep documents and tools. All rooms are designed to be luxury as living places, while not sacrificing any facilities required for work.
Here is the reward for your hard day; spending the night on luxury bedroom with your love ones.
